Partnership SBIC Noordwijk and Knowco Collabwith

We are happy to announce a new partnership between Knowco Collabwith and SBIC Noordwijk

Knowco Collabwith believes businesses and society, as a whole, cold prosper if there was better access to the bright minds of academics. With this platform knowco aims to allow everyone to find their own business to collaborate with, find the right professor or perfect start-up.  With this new partnership, Knowco Collabwith can offer new access to experts in the field of space science to the SBIC startups and SBIC members. And allow our members to expand knowledge about space research developments.

Knowco-Collabwith and SBIC Noordwijk wish to collaborate in order to strengthen each other’s community members to increase their visibility, their technical solutions, startup programs and challenges bringing an innovative impact into the market through open innovation collaborations for the Space Industry. Both companies share the mission of #downtoearth where Space Technology could be applied to any kind of industry and improve the positive impact of their business models and technology.

Company Space Business Innovation Center, Noordwijk

Space exploration is not only a curiosity-driven endeavor. ‘Space’ has also given us many useful applications right here on earth. We can hardly imagine our lives anymore without satellite navigation in our cars, satellite TV in our homes, and location-based apps on our phones. Space is also responsible for innovations such as LED lighting, solar panels and freeze-dried food. And we have learned many valuable lessons by observing our own planet from space, with the help of earth observation satellites.

Still, we believe that ‘space’ is not being used to its maximum potential – especially by small businesses and startups. There is a need for startup hubs for the space industry. That is why the Space Business Innovation Centre Noordwijk supports entrepreneurs and startups that want to launch or improve a product or service that makes use of space technology. Think of an agriculture app that uses satellite data to inform farmers, or a product developer that uses space-grade technology to store medication. Now that’s #downtoearth! Visit
