ONLINE HACKATHON TU MUNICH
This is an opportunity to have TUM students working on problems of members of the Knowco Collabwith Community.
We expect 120 teams of 4 developers as in the last two years:
The mentors / “product owners” should be available on 17-19th April (online) to pitch their problem and support the teams with their domain / problem know-how. They can get in direct contact with the organizers via e-mail hackatum.in@tum.de.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected everyone’s life – people are losing their jobs and are being isolated far away from their loved ones, businesses are experiencing dramatic losses, healthcare workers are sacrificing their health and governments are imposing unprecedented measures in order to help fight the virus.
We here at Technische Universität München could not stand by during these challenging times and therefore decided to organize an additional, special online edition of hackaTUM to develop solutions for many of the challenges posed by COVID-19.
Join us and make your contribution to solving the Corona crisis. You will also have a unique chance to get mentorship from our leading partners and win some great prizes!
>>>Healthcare
The healthcare sector requires the most help and support in this difficult time. Submit your solutions for early detection of the virus, telemedicine for patients with COVID-19, mental health support for healthcare workers and people in isolation, and other original ideas.
>>>Education
With the shutdown of schools and universities, remote learning has become the only possible option to continue studying during the quarantine. In this track, you can submit new solutions for digital learning, as well as for educating and raising awareness about COVID-19.
>>>Business
Small and medium businesses are getting hit especially hard by the corona crisis. In this track, you can present solutions that will help manage the impact of coronavirus on companies and maintain their operation. This track also includes solutions for remote working.
>>>Government and Society
In this track, you can submit solutions for the challenges that have hit governments and society as a whole. Among others, these include solutions for the unemployment crisis and for the negative consequences of social isolation.
You can submit your own ideas or address one of the challenges, provided by our partners.
