WE ARE LOOKING FOR UNIVERSITIES AND ECOSYSTEMS THAT ARE CURIOUS AND HAVE AN IDEA TO CREATE A DIGITAL EFFECTIVE AND KIND ENVIRONMENT TO HELP RESEARCHERS TO WORK WITH COMPANIES AND STARTUPS.
Christian Martin and Andrea Bonnimond are working in an accelerator and TTO (tech transfer office) respectively, they want to improve their communities with external collaborations from outside their local companies. They are feeling that they are missing out of the innovation ecosystem trend, that there are many public funds for innovation collaborations with other countries, and funding to connect other innovation ecosystems. However, they are worry because the community of startups or researchers they are managing inside their accelerator and TTOs are not coming to their events, or they don’t see all the activities are organizing.
I heard from them, that even the European Commission wants to reduce the role of the TTOs (tech transfer offices) and remove the public funding for them. Researchers, academics and spinoff are complaining that TTOs and accelerators take advantage of them via % equity but they are always busy and they are not helpful. They see them as a bottleneck more than a “saver”. Even worse, when we discussed with Christian and Andrea, they can mention only one researcher or one startup to contact them for feedback. Why? because they are feeling overwhelmed on how to manage more than one thousand academics and startups only with a team of 3 team members. At the end, Christian and Andrea are blocked and stressed out and they don’t know what is the right path to continue and innovation, research, entrepreneurship and collaboration projects.
Collabwith has all the methodologies and experts (not only us) about innovation ecosystems, innovation communities for collaboration for innovation between academia-industry-startup that can help you. Christian and Andrea now receive weekly email with their public funding calls for their innovation ecosystems (accelerators and TTOs) to increase their budget for their innovation projects, they receive resources to learn how to create an innovation culture, how to engage researchers with the TTOs, how to engage investors and other partners at their accelerators, how to manage conflict inside consortiums, how to manage more than one thousand researchers only with three team members and how to organize events inside their universities and accelerators that participants love to attend and participate actively. Now, they receive congratulations for what the TTOs and accelerator are doing and organizing.
But, every quarter, when Christian and Andrea are doing the reviews and the reporting, they both think that they can do more, than they have too much stress and the impact is low. Other teams are working in silos, there is no a one direction for everyone, and not a common strategy. It seems like everyone is doing their own thing without seeing progress, so they keep going because they don’t know how to go out the routine. But they knew, this is not a one week thing.. it’s like a marathon, they have to be consistent, they have to focus on the process and they have to be kind to their respective communities.
Christian and Andrea were surprised about the easy way to orchestrate a innovation ecosystem and community, increase the number of collaborations, funding consortiums, number of private investors. Furthermore, they were shocked about the simplicity of the innovation ecosystem framework, collaboration framework and the easy orchestration process. Yes, definitely, it’s about the right mindset. But the method, does it work, really?
At Collabwith, 55% of members open our email with funding opportunities, workshop participants love the energy of the community, masterclass participants applied the new methods, came again and again every month and recommend our collaboration frameworks to their colleagues and other professionals they met during their trips and conferences. Innovation ecosystems such as accelerators and TTOs called us months later with their good news of new funding, new customers for their technology pool and how researchers and startups are coming to the events, and their ecosystem calendar is more adequate to their community needs. Managers receive messages of congratulations for the events they are doing, that researchers and entrepreneurs don’t want to miss out.
Our methodology bring results when you apply it after learning, and when you receive our emails with funding opportunities you select the right one for you to apply, and you create a consortium. Anyhow, in case you have questions, we are here to support you in your current process.
Here below you can get the membership you need at this moment. After the payment, you will receive an email with instructions to enter to the platform, with a link to schedule our kickoff call, and a plan to do the trainings to ensure you will be successful as an innovation ecosystem coordinator and plan the onboarding process for your community (including trainings for them).
